Positions Postdoctoral and PhD Student

The Schmid Lab at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, Tübingen, Germany, is seeking highly motivated young scientists to join our research team investigating the control of flowering time in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. The successful candidates will study the effect of ambient temperature on alternative mRNA splicing and flowering (see Posè et al., Nature, 2013 and Lee et al., Science, 2013 for details) and/or the integration of flowering time signals at the shoot meristem (Wahl et al., Science, 2013). The projects are funded through a newly established, DFG Collaborative Research Centre (Sonderforschungsbereich; SFB 1101) and the ERA-CAPS program (“FLOWPLAST”). For the full text: click here
